Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-Time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School’s on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, administering medications as needed, coordinating daily routines and activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household budgeting and reporting; employment begins with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent within the same student home, with relocation to Hershey, PA and on-campus housing provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of married status (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds only
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes and participate in a structured living environment
