Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and recreational engagement. Manage household budgets and reporting while adhering to a nine-day on-duty, three-day-off schedule. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group after initial support. Requires a married couple (ages 27+, two years together) with youth experience, a valid driver's license, and high school diploma. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
