Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, lead devotions, and engage in recreational programming. Oversee budgeting and reporting, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled time during weekdays. Requires a legally married couple (2+ years) aged 27+, holding valid driver's licenses and high school diplomas. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
