Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities while planning developmental and recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various homes on a nine-on, three-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both age 27 or older, with no more than three dependent children.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
