Job Summary
Coordinate daily routines, including wake-up times, mealtimes, homework support, and bedtime, while fostering a safe, respectful living environment for students. Coach youth in conflict resolution, social skills, and personal responsibility through consistent discipline and role-modeling behavior. Plan and lead recreational activities, community service, and cultural experiences to support student development. Manage household logistics such as meal planning, basic budgeting, transportation coordination, and maintaining a clean living space. Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and health services to monitor student progress. Work extended on-duty blocks with scheduled time off in school-provided housing.
Required Qualifications
- experience working with children or youth—such as teaching, coaching, social services, childcare, or residential care
