Job Summary
Houseparents provide daily care, structure, and supervision for a group of students, living on campus in school-provided housing. Responsibilities include coordinating routines (wake-up, meals, homework, recreation, bedtime), supporting students in academics and life skills, communicating with teachers and health services, coaching in conflict resolution and personal responsibility, and participating in community and cultural activities. The role requires strong role-modeling, empathy, energy, patience, organizational skills, teamwork, and the ability to follow school protocols in a residential setting. The position is on campus with housing provided and involves extended blocks of on-duty time balanced with time off, ideal for mission-oriented individuals or couples seeking long-term impact.
