Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus and provide daily care, structure, and supervision for a group of students, coordinating routines (wake-up, meals, homework, recreation, bedtime) and supporting development of study habits, life skills, and positive character traits. They communicate with teachers, health services, and staff to monitor progress and behavior, collaborate with the school community to meet students’ needs, model appropriate behavior, coach in conflict resolution and personal responsibility, and participate in recreational and cultural activities. The role requires energy, empathy, patience, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established protocols while promoting equity and inclusion. The position includes on-campus housing, requires experience with children/youth, and is ideal for mission-driven individuals or couples seeking long-term impact in a residential school setting.
