Job Summary
Houseparents are on-campus, live-in caregivers who supervise and support a group of students, overseeing daily routines (wake-up, meals, homework, recreation, bedtime), promoting academic and social-emotional growth, coordinating with teachers/health services, and modeling positive behavior. Responsibilities include planning meals and budgeting for home needs, coordinating transportation to school functions, maintaining a clean, orderly living space, and participating in recreational/community activities. This role requires energy, empathy, patience, organizational skills, and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and respect, with training and professional development offered.
Required Qualifications
