Job Summary
Manage a student home by coordinating daily routines including wake-up, mealtimes, homework, recreation, and bedtime while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive living environment. Provide direct care, structure, and supervision to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through role-modeling, conflict resolution coaching, and consistent discipline aligned with school policies. Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and health services to monitor progress and ensure consistent support. Plan and lead recreational activities, community service, and cultural experiences to broaden student interests. Handle household logistics such as meal planning, budgeting, transportation coordination, and maintaining a clean living space. Work extended on-duty blocks with scheduled time off in school-provided housing.
Required Qualifications
- experience working with children or youth—such as teaching, coaching, social services, childcare, or residential care
