Houseparents, Full-Time

Full-time live-in Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to live on campus and manage a student home, coordinating daily routines (wake-up, meals, homework, recreation, bedtime), supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, coaching conflict resolution and personal responsibility, and collaborating with teachers, health services, and staff to meet students’ needs in a safe, respectful living environment. The role involves housing and ongoing professional development in child development, behavior management, and trauma-informed practices, with responsibilities including household logistics, transportation coordination, meal planning, and maintaining a clean living space. Ideal candidates have experience working with children/youth in diverse, resource-limited backgrounds and are committed to equity, inclusion, and a mission-driven culture.
