Houseparents, Full-Time

Live-in Houseparents on campus to provide daily care, structure, and supervision for a group of students at Milton Hershey School. Responsible for coordinating wake-up, meals, homework, recreation, and bedtime; supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth; communicating with teachers, health services, and staff to monitor progress; modeling positive behavior and guiding conflict resolution and personal responsibility. Plan and participate in recreational activities, community service, and cultural experiences; manage household logistics and housing while maintaining a clean, orderly living space. Requires energy, empathy, patience, organizational skills, and experience working with children or youth. Must be comfortable in a multicultural environment and committed to equity and inclusion; teamwork and collaboration are essential. The role includes on-campus housing and is mission-driven, with training and development in areas like child development, behavior management, and trauma-informed practices.
