Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School to provide daily care, structure, and supervision for a group of students, coordinating routines (wake-up, meals, homework, recreation, bedtime), supporting academics and life skills, and communicating with teachers and health services. The role emphasizes coaching in conflict resolution, social skills, personal responsibility, and maintaining a safe, inclusive living environment. Responsibilities include planning recreational activities, collaborating with staff, coordinating transportation to functions or appointments, budgeting for home needs, and ensuring consistent discipline aligned with school policies.
