Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and order throughout a 65,000 sq ft facility, including an Emergency Shelter and outside grounds. Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas while assisting Housekeepers with restroom upkeep. Deliver packages to the Visitor's Lobby, store them securely, and keep the lobby clutter-free. Manage exterior grounds by handling landscaping, litter removal, and snow removal to ensure walkways and parking areas remain safe. Travel to and support maintenance needs at three satellite facilities, adhering to health, safety, and environmental protocols. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report restocking needs to the Supervisor. Interact professionally with Clients and Employees to foster a supportive environment. Valid driver's license required for satellite travel; previous custodial experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to satellite facilities
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a large facility or shelter environment
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety standards
