Job Summary
Stock the housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities. Clean guest rooms by making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash, while changing linens and replenishing towels. Perform deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses and move furniture as needed. Respond to guest requests and report issues or complaints in a hospitable manner. Ensure all hotel property is in working order by reporting damage or missing articles to management. Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and complete tasks within allotted MPRs. Turn in and log all guest property left in rooms or public spaces. This role supports overnight guests and contributes to hotel safety and security. Work varies with business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures
- Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
- Able to understand and speak some of the English language
- Able to prioritize work assignments
- Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality
