Job Summary
Stock housekeeping carts with supplies, linens, and amenities. Clean guest rooms by making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replacing linens while turning down rooms as needed. Change and replenish guest amenities, clean public areas and offices, and perform deep cleaning tasks like flipping mattresses. Ensure all rooms meet assigned MPRs and report damage or mechanical issues to management. Respond to guest requests, log guest property, and assist in emergency situations. Attend pre-shift meetings to learn daily assignments. Work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays to support hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures
- Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
- Able to understand and speak some of the English language
- Able to prioritize work assignments
- Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality
