Job Summary
Vacuum, clean bathrooms and kitchens, and dust flat surfaces in assigned apartments and common areas as directed by the supervisor. Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition while attending in-service training sessions. Perform specific duties and uphold resident confidentiality at all times. Work involves moderate to heavy physical effort 95% of the day, including standing, walking up to eight hours, lifting up to 30 lbs, and operating wheeled carts. This role supports the Westminster Village's hospitality and wellness-focused culture by ensuring a clean, respectful environment for residents, employees, and guests.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand and walk long distances up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to stoop and work from a kneeling position
- Must be able to perform repetitive bending, reaching and stretching
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. independently
- Must be able to push and/or pull wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a vacuum
- Must be able to work in confined spaces around furniture and breakable objects
- Must have constant contact with residents
