Job Summary
Housekeeping Technician in Environmental Services for Northwestern Medicine. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, offices, and public areas daily; stocking supplies; following isolation and PPE procedures; maintaining and cleaning carts and equipment; promoting workplace safety; handling chemicals safely with proper dilution and labeling; reporting safety hazards and equipment issues to supervision; communicating issues and coordinating with supervisors or centers to ensure tasks are completed. Requires effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff, the ability to follow instructions, use department tools for tracking and communication, and independent work.
