Job Summary
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, dormitories, cabins, bathrooms, showers, meeting rooms, and common areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces. Empty trash containers, make beds, and manage linens by collecting, washing, drying, and distributing them. Restock paper products, soap, and toiletries while inspecting assigned areas for damage, safety hazards, or missing supplies. Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions, maintaining organized storage closets and tracking supply needs. Prepare facilities before arrivals and reset spaces after departures, occasionally assisting with deep-cleaning and seasonal projects. Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, responding to changing priorities and schedules as part of the Housekeeping Team at Round Lake Christian Camp in Lakeville, Ohio.

- Stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Frequently bend, kneel, reach, twist, and climb stairs
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies, linens, trash, and other materials
- Push and pull vacuums, carts, and cleaning equipment
- Work with cleaning chemicals and disinfectants while using required protective equipment
- Work indoors and outdoors in changing temperatures and weather conditions
- Perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Maintain the health and stamina necessary to perform the position safely and effectively
- Some evenings and weekends may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is beneficial
