Job Summary
Supervise, train and inspect housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures. Prepare and distribute assignments, review priorities, inspect guest rooms and public areas, assist staff to maintain optimum cleanliness and guest service. Utilize knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and equipment; perform required calculations; maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data; identify training needs and provide guidance. Proficient in inputting/accessing information in the property management system.
Required Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
