Job Summary
Oversee housekeeping operations as a Supervisor at Courtyard Owatonna Downtown. Train staff, inspect guest rooms, ensure housekeeping standards are achieved, assist with room attendants and public area attendants, resolve guest issues, collaborate with departments, and uphold safety and hotel standards. Ensure use of chemicals per OSHA regulations, maintain equipment knowledge, and support to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas; contribute to a positive guest experience and hotel core values.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
