Job Summary
Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and common areas. Plan and schedule cleaning programs, including annuals, move-in preparations, and window and carpet cleaning. Monitor inventory levels, order necessary equipment and supplies, and ensure safe handling and storage. Assist with cleaning duties for floors, restrooms, kitchens, resident laundry, and apartments, while helping to make-ready vacant apartments. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring staff follow all safety standards, health codes, and emergency response protocols. Control keys, equipment, supplies, and inventory, and maintain professional appearance per company policies. Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth operations and perform additional duties as needed. Full-time position at Village on Morehead, Village on Morehead, an Independent Living senior community, with a pay rate of $23/hr. Weekend and holiday availability required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to implement cleaning programs, complete checklists, and maintain work records and reports
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to direct the work of others in a professional and compassionate manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
