Job Summary
Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the department to maintain high cleanliness standards, guest service, and operational efficiency. Oversee staff, budgets, inventory, and cost control; ensure quality services and adherence to policies. Direct hourly associates, prepare daily assignment sheets, monitor cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, coordinate with front desk and security, and support training and development to meet hotel objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a hotel environment
- Experience managing staff schedules, performance evaluations, and training programs
- Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and housekeeping management software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to address guest and staff concerns professionally
