Job Summary
Oversees housekeeping and laundry teams in a hotel environment; assists the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, guest service, and efficiency. Supervises staff, conducts training and evaluations, helps manage the department budget and cost controls, enforces policies, coordinates daily assignments, inspects guest rooms and public areas, maintains cleanliness standards, reports status to the front desk, and supports coordination with security and inventory control to maintain a welcoming hotel environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a hotel environment
- Experience managing staff schedules, performance evaluations, and training programs
- Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and housekeeping management software
