Job Summary
Housekeeping Supervisor at Sonesta oversees housekeeping and laundry operations under the Housekeeping Manager, including inspecting rooms and training room attendants, while performing cleaning duties as needed to ensure rooms meet brand standards and occupancy readiness. Responsibilities include recruiting and developing staff, scheduling room cleaning, maintaining par levels for linens and supplies, monitoring laundry equipment, managing lost and found, ensuring health and safety compliance, and promoting teamwork and quality service in line with Sonesta’s standards. Strong English communication, supervisory aptitude, training ability, and familiarity with hotel operations and basic budgeting are preferred; candidate will work mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays in a hotel environment and may utilize Microsoft Office tools. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- two years housekeeping experience including some supervisory training/experience
- ability to speak, read, and write fluent English
- reading and writing abilities to document tasks, order supplies, receive instructions
- basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
- experience with Microsoft Office preferred
