Job Summary
Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to deliver excellent guest service and cleanliness. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards. Manage housekeeping inventory and maintain adequate supplies and equipment. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. This dual role combines supervisory duties with hands-on cleaning tasks. Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week, with availability for occasional weekends and holidays. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in housekeeping
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Skill in using cleaning equipment and tools
- Stamina to work long hours
- Good overall health and physical strength
- Must be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Additional education
- 1+ year in a supervisory role in hospitality
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
