Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations across dining areas, restrooms, entryways, back-of-house zones, and staff facilities. Assign tasks, manage duty rosters, and monitor cleanliness standards through routine inspections while ensuring all cleaning adheres to restaurant SOPs and hygiene protocols. Supervise housekeeping staff by providing performance feedback, conducting on-the-job training on procedures and safety, and enforcing grooming standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, coordinate repairs for maintenance issues, and support internal and external audits. Liaise with restaurant managers, kitchen teams, and vendors to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and handle guest concerns professionally.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and hygiene standards
- Ability to multitask, manage schedules, and work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving ability
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties when required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred
