Job Summary
Administer and coordinate housekeeping functions in assigned sections, assuming all Housekeeping Manager duties during their absence. Inspect Room Attendants' daily work performance, monitor cleanliness of carts and closets, and oversee floor closing procedures to ensure carts are clean and restocked. Maintain key control, manage daily assignments, and initiate work orders for repairs while carrying an active radio for shift contact. Assist with staff training and ensure all records, assignments, and lost-and-found items are handled per standards. Participate in required meetings, adhere to safety policies, and maintain high personal grooming standards. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must adhere to the company's Service culture
- Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Must be able to stand during entire shift
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Must be able to sit, bend, squat, stretch, and walk excessively
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to chemicals
- Must carry an active radio to maintain contact with the Front Office and/or Engineering throughout the shift
- Must abide by all hotel policies and safety rules
- Must be able to work flexible and long hours including nights, weekends or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Previous supervisory responsibility
