Job Summary
Oversee daily housekeeping operations for resort cabins, bathhouses, laundry areas, and common spaces, with hands-on cleaning between guest stays. Supervise a small housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, and daily task assignments; inspect cabins, restrooms, and common facilities to ensure cleanliness meets resort standards; provide coaching to improve efficiency and quality. Maintain cleanliness of cabins, bathhouses, laundry rooms, and common areas; restock linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies; monitor inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed. Provide prompt guest service, respond to requests or concerns, ensure quick cabin turnarounds for check-ins, and maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed; report maintenance issues or safety hazards; maintain proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals. This is a full-time, year-round position at Ocean Grove RV Resort in Saint Augustine, FL, with flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically active tasks
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
