Job Summary
Supervise the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure product quality standards are met and optimum service is provided to hotel guests. Inspect assigned suites and public areas for cleanliness and repair, advise employees of deficiencies, and provide retraining as needed. Partner with the Housekeeping Manager to recruit, develop, and monitor performance while managing par levels for linens and supplies. Assist with scheduling room cleaning assignments, training staff, and performing cleaning duties in guest suites and public spaces. Monitor commercial laundry supplies and equipment, manage lost and found procedures, and ensure compliance with health and safety laws. Work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays while carrying items up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years housekeeping experience
- Some supervisory training/experience
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English
- Reading and writing abilities
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
