Job Summary
Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, including room attendants and cleaners, by assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and monitoring performance. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established protocols, while training new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards. Coordinate daily operations for room cleaning, public area maintenance, and inventory management, responding promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services. Uphold Moxy's standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in hotel housekeeping
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and use of cleaning equipment
- Excellent organizational & communication skills to coordinate tasks and interact with guests and team members
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Light work – exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 40 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- This position may require flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the hotel's operational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or similar systems is a plus
