Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards; run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update room assignments. Assist housekeeping management in daily activities and act as liaison to coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry; document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with Front Desk; prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments; communicate issues to next shift; complete required paperwork. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; enforce safety and security policies; report maintenance problems or hazards; ensure professional appearance and confidentiality; maintain guest relations and respond to service needs; use computers/POS systems for entering and locating work-related information. Read and verify information in multiple formats; perform other duties as requested. Preferred qualifications include High school diploma or GED, 1 year related experience, and 1 year supervisory experience.
