Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise housekeeping operations, inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards; run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, and coordinate room assignments and changes with Front Desk. Assist housekeeping management in daily activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff; enforce safety and security policies; ensure professional appearance and confidentiality; communicate issues across shifts and with other departments (Engineering, Front Office, Laundry). Maintain guest service standards, respond to guest needs, and uphold Marriott’s hospitality expectations. Ensure adherence to quality standards, complete required paperwork, and manage equipment movement (including lifting up to 55 pounds).
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
