Job Summary
Oversee daily housekeeping operations by assigning work, inspecting guest rooms and public areas for brand standards, and communicating guest requests to the Front Desk. Monitor room status in the property management system, submit maintenance requests, and ensure linen storage is organized and stocked. Assist with training new and existing staff, manage inventory ordering, and foster team morale through open communication and recognition. Support the Director of Rooms with departmental effectiveness while maintaining cleanliness across all hotel areas. Flexible scheduling required with weekend and holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel housekeeping function
- Weekends & holiday availability required
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, productivity standards, scheduling, and labor cost control
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
