Job Summary
Internship in housekeeping supervision at The Hoxton Poblenou (Barcelona) supporting the management of day-to-day housekeeping operations for 5-6 months starting January 2026. Responsibilities include coordinating and controlling cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas; selecting and monitoring cleaning/maintenance products; maintaining inventory records; participating in cleaning inspections to ensure standards; supervising room readiness; ensuring compliance with cleaning and safety protocols; assisting with complaints and maintenance reporting; supporting laundry control, lost-and-found, and other administrative duties; collaborating with other teams and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Requires current enrollment in a Hospitality Management or Tourism degree program and fluency in Spanish or English; internship includes €500 gross monthly allowance, meals on shift, a complimentary night and meal for new hire, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism
- Fluent in Spanish or English
- An eagle-eye for detail
