Job Summary
Supervise the Housekeeping department by inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and recreational spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness and décor standards. Issue keys, room lists, and cleaning schedules, then verify their completion throughout the day. Communicate with the front desk regarding room moves, VIP needs, and special requirements while maintaining accurate records. Conduct daily meetings and training sessions on hotel policies, guest services, and confidentiality. Monitor staff compliance with uniform and hygiene policies, ensuring all carts and work areas remain orderly. Address conflicts calmly and foster a positive work environment while managing inventory levels for linen and amenities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high degree of autonomy
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping or laundry experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Experience in team management preferred
