Job Summary
Direct and work with staff to ensure guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Perform daily housekeeping skills as needed, complete inspections of safety and security measures, and hold people accountable for assigned tasks while delivering corrective actions. Assist with the overall performance of the Housekeeping department, including guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor. Train fellow associates on brand and company standards to maximize revenue, promote standards through actions and communications, and ensure hotel policies are followed. Maintain positive relationships with associates to drive satisfaction while leading the team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel
- The ability to perform inventory and cost control
- The ability to ensure that hotel policies and brand standards are followed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with major hotel brands like Marriott, Hilton, or Starwood (highly desired)
- The skills and experience to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service
- Sufficient communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with associates to drive associate satisfaction
- The ability to train and implement policies and procedures
