Job Summary
Direct and supervise staff to ensure guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Perform daily housekeeping skills as needed, conduct inspections for safety and security compliance, and deliver corrective actions for assigned tasks. Assist with overall department performance regarding guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor. Train associates on brand and company standards to maximize revenue while promoting those standards in actions and communications. Maintain positive relationships with staff to drive satisfaction and implement policies and procedures. Requires previous hotel housekeeping experience and inventory/cost control abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel
- The ability to perform inventory and cost control
- The ability to ensure that hotel policies and brand standards are followed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with major hotel brands like Marriott, Hilton, or Starwood
- The skills and experience to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service
- Sufficient communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with associates to drive associate satisfaction
- The ability to train and implement policies and procedures
