Job Summary
Lead housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, oversee and train staff, inspect rooms to ensure standards, coordinate with front desk/engineering/banquet/room service, prepare maintenance work orders, manage linen inventory, and ensure guest needs are met with courteous service while maintaining safety and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of three years of housekeeping experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with minimal direct supervision
- Basic computer skills
- In-depth knowledge of hotel services and facilities
- Ability to stand and walk for nearly 100% of the working day
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- Requires bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching as part of routine duties
