Job Summary
Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure brand and sustainability standards are met while training, scheduling, and coaching associates on efficient room cleaning. Screen applicants for new hires, issue cleaning supplies and equipment, and address performance or behavior concerns through direct intervention or vendor coordination. Prepare work schedules based on occupancy, assist with laundry and breakfast areas as needed, and maintain safe work habits per OSHA standards. Monitor guest service scores to drive improvement and ensure overall satisfaction. This role supports the Executive Housekeeper growth path at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark, located near Walt Disney World Resort.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training
- Previous supervisory responsibility
- High School diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be available to work on holidays
- Must be available to work on weekends
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
