Job Summary
Lead and supervise a housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include organizing shifts, training and motivating staff, inspecting rooms and common areas for cleanliness, scheduling replacements, enforcing sanitation policies, addressing guest requests, managing stock of cleaning products, and participating in large cleaning projects. Requires hands-on cleaning knowledge, strong organizational and people-management skills, stamina for physical tasks, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
- Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Excellent organizational and team management skills
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma is a plus
