Job Summary
Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure brand and guest service standards are met, including training, scheduling, and coaching associates on room cleaning efficiency. Screen job applicants for new hires, issue cleaning supplies and equipment, and address performance or behavior concerns through direct intervention or vendor coordination. Prepare work schedules and communicate occupancy to vendors for proper staffing levels, while assisting in the breakfast area as needed. Follow sustainability guidelines for the EarthView program and adhere to OSHA safety standards. Monitor guest service scores to drive improvement and ensure overall satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training
- Previous supervisory responsibility
- High School diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be available to work on holidays
- Must be available to work on weekends
