Job Summary
Supervise housekeeping staff ensuring brand and guest service standards are met while training, scheduling, and coaching associates to perform efficiently. Screen applicants and hire new employees, issue cleaning supplies and equipment, and address performance concerns through direct intervention or vendor management. Prepare work schedules to ensure proper staffing levels and assist with room cleaning or breakfast duties as needed. Follow sustainability guidelines and OSHA safety standards, including wearing protective equipment. Work varying shifts that may include weekends and holidays, requiring physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training
- Previous supervisory responsibility
- High School diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be available to work on holidays
- Must be available to work on weekends
