Job Summary
Lead housekeeping operations at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures across the housekeeping department; supervise and train staff, monitor cleanliness and sanitation, and respond to guest needs to maintain high guest satisfaction. Leverage strong communication skills to coordinate with management and team members, and utilize knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and equipment to maintain safe, efficient operations. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; flexibility to work weekends/holidays and varied shifts is required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry; supervisory experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling requirements, and use of equipment.
