Job Summary
Establish housekeeping standards, inspect facility areas for cleanliness, and coordinate annual cleaning activities with the Environmental Services Director. Conduct periodic inventories, order supplies, and research new cleaning equipment and processes. Directly supervise 10–20 employees by interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff while distributing work requests promptly. Implement infection control policies, monitor departmental compliance, and assist with task-related duties without replacing supervisory responsibilities. Help operate the department within budget guidelines and interact professionally with residents, vendors, and associates. Prioritize CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Several years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be CPR certified within 30 days of employment
- Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or submit a COVID-19 Declination, as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping supervisory experience is preferred
