Job Summary
Housekeeping Supervisor onboard M/S Finbo Cargo (fixed-term Aug 2026–May 2027) who acts as immediate supervisor of the ship’s cleaning staff, organizes and leads housekeeping operations, participates in practical cleaning, and handles shift planning for the entire hotel department. Requires previous housekeeping experience and/or education, leadership or team-management experience, and the ability to work in English with basic Finnish. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, with the capability to operate under pressure. Work is performed in shifts; onboard periods are followed by an equally long paid time off (for example two weeks onboard and two weeks off).
Required Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping and/or education in housekeeping
- leadership or team management
- ability to work in English and basic Finnish
- strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- ability to handle pressure
