Job Summary
Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas while performing daily inspections and maintaining quality control programs. Manage supplies and ensure team members have the necessary equipment, assist with payroll and administrative duties, and follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices. Provide friendly service to all individuals in the hospital and assist management to help the department operate efficiently. Full-time position available with a morning shift at HCA Brandon Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English
- Work well in a team environment
- Practice good personal hygiene
- Be neatly groomed
- Be in uniform
- GED or high school diploma
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- Provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Must be able to push and pull carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift

- Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)
