Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor directly oversees hotel housekeeping staff, ensuring guest satisfaction by resolving complaints and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities include verifying and updating room status from the A.M. report, assigning and supervising staff, managing keys and beepers, coordinating breaks, preparing assignment sheets, inspecting rooms and public areas with checklists, directing staff to address deficiencies, reviewing supply levels and equipment, conducting staff training, documenting performance and disciplinary issues, completing maintenance work orders, and ensuring accurate departmental records and nightly counts aligned with standards. Ceded duties also cover communication with the manager and ongoing supervision of staff performance and adherence to standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Six months to one year related supervisory experience
