Job Summary
Supervise room attendants and organize shifts to facilitate the room making process and daily allocation of deep cleaning tasks. Ensure guest rooms, corridors, and heart of the house areas meet brand standards through routine inspections and checks of occupied and departure rooms. Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities, and handle lost and found procedures while reporting maintenance issues to Engineering. Assist Cornerstone Housekeepers with training and represent team needs to other departments. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation. Work various shifts including evenings and weekends in the Downtown Area at $16 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role ( 6 months- 1 year)
- Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Excellent organizational and team management skills
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Good understanding of sanitation regulations
- Team management abilities
- Aware of all room categories and amenities
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
