Job Summary
Housekeeping Supervisor leading a team to maintain Coast Hotels’ cleaning standards across guest rooms and public areas at the Coast Calgary University District Hotel by APA. Responsible for daily room inspections, assigning daily work, ensuring safety and WHMIS compliance, coordinating maintenance follow-ups, and upholding exceptional customer service and a people-first culture. Requires secondary school completion, hospitality education asset, and at least 2 years of related experience; physical ability to lift 25 pounds and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong English communication and teamwork skills. The role emphasizes operational excellence, leadership, and adherence to Coast’s values in a full-service hotel setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in related position
- Successful completion of secondary school required
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, with completed courses in hotel management an asset
- Physical requirements include ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 25 pounds, ability to stand and / or walk for an extended period of time, ability to stoop, kneel and reach, or perform repetitive foot and hand action, and the ability to bend at the waist is required
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills

- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
