Job Summary
Carry out daily housekeeping and laundry duties following established task lists and procedures to support cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards. Complete assigned cleaning schedules and service areas with attention to detail, sanitation, and infection prevention while collaborating effectively with the care team. Engage respectfully and professionally with residents and guests, contributing to a positive and supportive facility atmosphere. Demonstrate effective interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills to maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members. Complete assignments timely, completely, and accurately within a 176-bed skilled nursing community.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of institutional housekeeping practices and standards
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills
- Someone who can complete assignments timely
- Interest in providing a home-like atmosphere
- Passion for providing excellent care to our residents
- Have a strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion
